One Man's Perception Of Male Pattern Baldness

Ed was a young man who was very proud to identify himself with his father and his family members. He spoke of his father and family with admiration and pride. When he was questioned on the subject of weight and family features his comments were basically clear he expected himself to be just like the family. He had no questions about it. His ideas on both weight and male pattern baldness was basically the same. He looked at his family members in expectation as to what he could look forward to . He expected to be fat and bald because his father was both fat and bald. He said " look at my family do you see many thin people" .
His take on male pattern baldness was basically the same . He expected to be bald because the man he knew as his father was bald. He never considered that male pattern baldness was passed to him because of a gene from his mother. I found it very interesting that even today with all of the technology and information that men still look at their fathers and study their features and draw a final conclusion, " I can expect to look like this man because he is my
father".
